Questions To Never Answer

Is each red traffic light a siren?
Or every one a warning?
Is the sum of the miles driven
Worth anything other than the journey?

If I were to travel a great distance,
Grow weary and here return,
Might I then be more enlightened?
And might you finally invite me in?
