What, Then, Shall We Say?

Shall we remember the past
In these memories romanticized.

Or should we visit them so naked
In their colors, black and white.

I might have loved but ‘twould have been for naught
As you lived in silence of manner expecting.

                   Nay, I am no lover,
But rather prone to rationale.
And neither be you warm, but rather unadmitting.
