The way in which she dances
Like running in place
With a story to tell of
A boy and a girl who
Might fall in love

Reminds me of someone
Who cares, who wants
The girl like the movies
Tell him he should.

Yet the way in which she dances
Is rather offensive;
There are no words descriptive
Of it as she plans and prods
And approvingly nods

Flitting from one interest to
The next as if one life is
Not enough time to experience
Every nuance and thing.
The boy leaves to think other thoughts
The matchmaker, too, wandered off
And she will soon little remember
Because that is her way.
