Proclaiming Thou Then Surely We Are All Culpable

We all shake our heads
And we all turn away
We all ask ourselves if
Relationally we’ve gone astray.
We all stick together
As we all condemn another
Who points to our mistakes
And asks us to reconsider
If what we have proclaimed
Is futile; for there is no
Correction without deed.
So what if one loves another
And so what if their darkest
Desires yet to be uncovered
Are not morally upright.
Do we not all love, do we
Not all hate, are we not all
Sinners knocking upon Hades’ gates?
Shake your heads, turn away;
I’ve always been relationally astray
The black sheep in the pen
The one with critical questions
And your efforts are as chaff in
The wind, your beliefs are vain.
